Eve attended University of Southern California and became a founding member of Omega Phi Beta sorority, as well as its vice-president for several years. She was also co-captain of the USC Fly Girls, creating a lot of their dance routines. In 2006, Eve graduated from USC with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. After college, she launched into a successful career as pro dancer and model. Her various work included dancing for the LA Clippers NBA Dance Team in the 2006-07 season. Her acting resume includes appearances on Days of our Lives, The Drop and The Underground.
In Summer 2007, Eve entered the WWE Diva Search, and was chosen as one of its eight contestants. Contests included diva-hopefuls wearing bikinis and rescuing a manequin on the beach to perform CPR mouth-to-mouth, as well as playing police officer with Todd Grisham as the suspect. Eve was announced winner of the contest due to fan voting on October 29, 2007 at Raw. From there she was signed to a WWE contract, and eventually began her training in Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling. Eve finally arrived to Smackdown in January of 2008. Her initial appearances on the show had her performing backstage interviews, with her first being Batista. Eve also participated in a Top Diva Competition on Smackdown (won by Michelle McCool) and Bunnymania Lumberjill match at Wrestlemania 24. She also was part of 2008 Cyber Sunday’s Diva Halloween costume contest, won by Mickie James. Eve chose the costume of Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
